Get to Know Ethan

Ethan Trust Snyder is a writer, medical reporter, and lifelong storyteller whose creative journey began in the third grade. He published his first book at just 13 years old—a heartwarming children’s story inspired by his deep affection for Maine. That book, Best Friends: The Adventures of Squirrel and Chipmunk in Maine, beautifully illustrated by Steve Daniels, sparked a passion for writing that would grow over the years.

Since then, Ethan has authored two more children’s books: Adventures in the World of Minecraft, a fan fiction he wrote and illustrated himself, and The Misadventures of Bubble Gum in New York, once again brought to life with illustrations by Steve Daniels. These books reflect Ethan’s imagination, curiosity, and playful storytelling style.

Originally from suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ethan is now based in Florida, where he works as a medical reporter with articles featured in national publications. He is also an entrepreneur, launching a poster design business and a clothing line. A self-proclaimed tech geek, he enjoys building computers, gaming, and exploring Japanese culture. Ethan is an avid manga reader, anime fan, and collector of Pokémon cards.

Ethan has traveled extensively, favoring places like Japan and the UAE, but his heart always leads him back to Maine, where he spends his summers soaking in the inspiration that first fueled his storytelling.
